The Mission of the Governor's Office of Rural Development is to improve the quality of life in Rural Louisiana through partnerships with local, state and federal agencies as well as public and private endeavors.

The Governor's Office of Rural Development is working to not only leverage funding, but also to develop a holistic approach to community and economic development for all Louisiana's small towns and rural communities.

Technology Engineers developed and maintains the Rural Development website that contains program information, news, resources and more.
